CTX attracts a truly diverse audience encompassing government and policing officials, representatives of the security services and security professionals from industry and commerce with significant purchasing power.

As the UK’s leading high-level security and EPRR event, a large proportion of visitors arrive from the UK and Europe. However, with 47 nations represented in total, there is growing global participation. More than 150 organisations are expected to exhibit their solutions in 2021.

The last edition of CTX - formerly known as SCTX - took place at London Olympia in March 2019. Scroll down to find out what participants made of their experience at the show.

Participant feedback

  • "The show is well presented; good displays and the people here are very knowledgeable – a good event in all. It is a high-level show, attracting the right professionals. The speakers have been brilliant so a very worthy and good exhibition."
    Michael Handley
Director at MHG, Corporate risk specialist services
  • "There is a wide range of things to see here so it’s great to see a good mix of new technologies. The variety definitely makes it more interesting. This is a very engaging show and aimed at just the right level so I am looking forward to next year."
    George Foden
    BRE Trust
  • "CTX provides us with some very useful insight into management, movement, modelling and simulation. The technology on show represents the best in the industry and we are able to engage with colleagues and peers across the sector. One of the main values for CTX is the smaller companies that come to the show with lesser known, but equally important, solutions and technologies so it’s a great place to discover what’s new."
    Dr Benjamin P Ford
    Innovation Manager
  • "It is good to see people returning such as exhibitors, visitors and it’s great to get in touch with different professionals from fields within the wider industry. I personally have not attended any of the conferences but the fact that the exhibition takes place at the same time in the same place is really helpful. I have met people here from Belgium that I didn’t know about or realise would be here so that is great, I could speak with them and get to know them."
    Gerrit Hannicart
    Surveillance & Close protection, Belgium
  • "This show is really useful, thought provoking and there is clearly a wealth of experience in the room. It is also a global show and that is what I wanted to see. The credibility of the speakers and advisory board members is excellent, and I definitely wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t useful to attend."
    Alan Hodgson
BMT, Strategic advisor – Policing and Justice Defence and Security UK
  • "For me and my industry, city security is spreading and there is more interest here so that is very good and useful for me. It is great to come to London, the right time to have the show as well. And it’s professional, well put on and great to be here."
    Russell Emerson
    Security Manager, CIS Security
  • "This show is a great benchmark for the industry, and I use it as that - to see what’s out there and what’s new. I use the show to feedback to my organisation and see what we could do from it. It is absolutely what I expected and always on our radar for us."
    Phillip Downing
    Innogy
  • "CTX is a brilliant show with fantastic content all around. The conferences and companies on site are relevant and important to the industry. CTX has proved a very useful networking tool.”
    Lemi Gezer
    Managing Director, Unisec Limited
  • "It has been a positive show this year. Our position next to the conference and demo zone has meant we have had a lot of traffic, but it has been good traffic. A lot of people taking a genuine interest in us and attending this show gets our name out there for people to see. It is very important to us to be here and we’ve enjoyed our time this year."
    Kirstine Wilson
    Scanna, Sales & Marketing Manager
  • "This is our first year at SCTX and It has been a consistent flow of interest from all types of delegates from across the security sectors. We have been able to have some very positive conversations at the show and look forward to using the leads we’ve generated to curate new business and partnerships in the coming months."
    Neil Holt
    General Manager, K2 Caravans
  • "This is our third year at SCTX and there’s a reason we come back. We had a very busy day one and the people visiting our stand on day two have been equally useful in creating leads and generating new business, which is what the show is all about for us. We are really happy to see quite a few international contacts showing an interest in our products and services."
    Nick Taylor
UK Key Accounts Manager, Woodway Engineering
  • "We’ve had a positive time here! Drones are obviously getting more popular and it used to be just three companies here with our products or services but now more people are interested in what we have. Some incidents in security have meant we have had a lot of traffic, so it’s been a good show, always busy here and this is our third time at SCTX."
Helen Lewis / Edward ‘Zak’ Zakrajsek
Marketing & Sales Co-ordinator / General Manager at DeTec, Inc / Dronewatcher
  • "The show has been positive all in all. We’ve had a lot of people come by and the show is a good way for us to get our show out in the open. We are in physical security with our turnstiles, so we need people to see it, use it and they have. People are walking by and having a go to see how it works."
    Tony Smith
    Fastlane Turnstiles
  • "We’ve been busy at the show this year, and the demographics of delegates engaging with us has been of a very high quality."
    Lauren Holdenstock
Rohde & Schwarz, UK & Ireland
